Over my 16 years as a Real Estate agent I have gained valuable experience in every facet of Real Estate. During this time, I have sold well in excess of $250,000,000 worth of property on the southern Gold Coast.
My career began in 1993 when I became a Sales Consultant with a national real-estate franchise in Palm Beach on the southern Gold Coast. I soon progressed into Project Marketing in 1995, where I designed and sold over 300 homes in a popular Housing Estate in Elanora. Three years later, I was appointed as the Sales Manager of a reputable independent agency, conducting seminars in Australia and off-shore selling to the investment market.
My managerial status continued in 2001, where I joined a large, successful, independent boutique agency on the southern Gold Coast. I further developed my reputation as a well-respected Sales Manager over a period of 7 years, earning the respect of colleagues and clients. It was whilst working with this independent agency in Kirra that I was heavily involved in amalgamating several high-profile development sites, and can proudly boast my success in having sold the majority of 27 units in a large Kirra development in less than 4 weeks.
In 2008, I was head-hunted for a Sales Manager’s role with one of the largest development companies on the Gold Coast, and I subsequently accepted the position.
My proudest achievement of all was the launch of my own real estate agency, McKinnon Realty. The company was formed in early 2009 and, as our vision statement implies - ‘We may not be the biggest… we strive to be the best’. We strive to be the best by sharing with you the very best of our knowledge, the very best of our personal service and the very best of results.

My name is Michelle McKinnon and I have been married to Greg for over 25 years. We have lived on the southern end of the Gold Coast for the past 16 years, where we have raised our two boys and created a lifestyle that we absolutely love.
I joined Greg in the Real Estate industry in 2006, working alongside him as his Personal Assistant, and helping to ensure each of his clients were well looked after and every transaction ran smoothly. Having been in the retail industry for 20 years prior to this, my experience in dealing with people from all walks of life prepared me well for a career in Real Estate.
In 2008, I was asked to accompany Greg as a Sales Consultant selling luxury high-rise apartments for a large Gold Coast development company and then in 2009, we proudly formed our new company, McKinnon Realty. I now work alongside Greg once again and take care of all the marketing of our company from business cards to brochures to signs to advertising.

When the opportunity arose to join McKinnon Realty’s growing team, I was delighted to have the chance to work with them. I have known Greg and Michelle for many years and I am confident that their young company will achieve great success based on foundations of integrity and professionalism. Having worked as a solicitor for 16 years before turning to real estate in 1992, I have a very solid background in servicing the needs of many and varied clients. During my years as a solicitor I practiced law in the Palm Beach area, along the way meeting Greg and Michelle. After completing a full Real Estate course in 1992, I ‘re-invented’ my career and began selling residential real estate in Palm Beach / Elanora. In years to come, I worked in Surfers Paradise specialising in selling investment properties then later on I spent a number of years working for a large independent building company as Sales/Marketing Manager selling new homes. Still retaining my love of the southern Gold Coast, I came to work with a large independent agency, once again focusing on real estate in the Palm Beach/Elanora area. I retained this position for 2 years before I was ultimately presented with the opportunity to work with McKinnon Realty.
I still reside alongside a picturesque Palm Beach canal to this day, and own a number of investment properties on the Gold Coast, Brisbane and North Queensland. Being an experienced property investor and having owned both a beachfront property and a permanent canal residence, I have developed an extensive and first-hand knowledge of general real estate and in particular waterfront properties. I am pleased to be joining McKinnon Realty, where I will be focusing on real estate in the Palm Beach area.

I began working in real estate as a Sales Consultant for an independent real estate agency in Coolangatta in 2004. Shortly after that the agency changed hands however it still remained an independent boutique agency. For a number of years, I grew my career and built my reputation alongside that of the new realtor, in one of the coast’s most popular beachfront destinations. I subsequently developed a reputation as a respectable and genuine sales person which continues today.
Having personally lived in the area since the year 2000, I have built my real estate career by focusing strongly on the beautiful Coolangatta and Tweed regions. Over this time, I have watched the area expand and have embraced the opportunity to work with both local and interstate home buyers and investors. I have also been involved in assisting with sales on some significant local developments. I have gradually built myself a solid sales record since 2004 when I began working in local real estate.
In more recent years, I was inspired to set myself a goal of obtaining my full Real Estate License. I can proudly say that I achieved this goal in 2006 and am now a fully Licensed Real Estate Agent in both Queensland and New South Wales.
I worked with Greg and Michelle for some years while we were both at an independent agency and later while we were working the southern Gold Coast division of a well-known, major development company. I am pleased to be working with Greg and Michelle once again, this time with their own boutique agency, McKinnon Realty.
